I’m a 28-year-old woman privately fighting aggressive breast cancer, and I’ve chosen to stay anonymous for my own emotional safety — but my story is real, and this fight is harder than anything I’ve ever faced.

This year I was diagnosed with breast cancer. This diagnosis hit me like a storm. One day I was full of energy, fun, and life… and the next, I was tired and sick, thrown into a battle for my survival. I always thought of myself as a baddie — confident, fun, loving, and full of sparkle — but nothing prepares you for news like this. I’m struggling financially while trying to stay stable and keep a brave face for myself. Cancer is expensive. Being sick is expensive. Surviving is expensive.

I am resilient, a fighter at heart, but cancer doesn’t care how strong you are. It challenges every part of you no matter who you are.
