#BattleLikeBooth Foundation

Hi, my name is Charlie Castine and I am running in the Denver Marathon, raising money for the Battle Like Booth Foundation. In September 2021, Booth Garnett was diagnosed with Lymphoblastic Leukemia and has been an inspiration ever since with his ability to fight and stay positive throughout this entire journey. His father's weekly posts about his hero remind everyone of, not only the warrior that's in his son but also inside us all. The battle is never easy but with determination, hard work, and perseverance, you can never be stopped.

The Battle Like Booth Foundation raises money for Mass General and Memorial Sloan Kettering with the desire to contribute to bringing some sense of joy to pediatric Cancer patients while they are in the hospital and receiving treatment. Attitude and mindset are tremendous factors when battling.

I have been fortunate enough to know the Garnett family for many years and their friendship, mentorship, and overall ability to dominate what life throws is something that I, along with many others, try to emulate every single day. So, after being on the receiving end for so many years, I feel it is my time to give back to them and to always continue the mission.
