Greetings family and friends of The Lumpkin Family (Hillrod, Desiree, and Kaiya).

As we know for the greater part of 2021, our brother/friend Hillrod has been in the hospital in particular the past 4-5 months. All praise be to God as our brother overcame not only COVID-19 but also pneumonia all with a compromised immune system due to chemo treatments for leukemia. Not only has this been hard on our brother but this has been just as tough on his queen, Desiree, as she has still had to work to provide for their daughter and household and also watch and hold Hill’s hand to see him battle day in and day out his physical complications. A small group of us thought it would be a kind gesture for us to donate a small token of love to the Lumpkin Family to not only give a brief moment of relief to Desiree, but to show both her and Hillrod that they are not forgotten and run across our minds quite often. Please continue to keep their family uplifted in prayer as well as occasional calls and/or texts to let our brother know we look forward to his full recovery and the day we all can reunite safely in a social distancing setting.
