On Sunday March 26, 2023, Kevin was diagnosed with brain cancer for the second time. Kevin beat brain cancer once and is now preparing to do it once more. Although this time is a little different.

Kevin’s brain cancer returned at double the size, more aggressive, and engulfing the right frontal lobe of his brain. After a very successful surgery in Texas, on March 27th, 2023, Kevin had 95% of the tumor removed. The remaining tumor was left in place as it was too dangerous to remove fully without requiring Kevin to need a caregiver for life. Kevin will begin chemo and radiation in the next few weeks to fight this terrible disease.

Kevin is a father, brother, son, and a great friend to many. Kevin will be battling this disease without health insurance or pay. He began a new job in 2022 which he LOVES, but has not been at the job long enough to qualify for any short or long term paid absences or benefits and will be losing his current health insurance in two weeks.

Kevin is an Army veteran, unfortunately, his brain cancer the first time around was NOT involved, registered, or paid for by the VA. So nothing is being covered by the VA this time around. We hope to soon have the long VA process started, but Kevin’s first initial appointment isn’t for over two months. Until then, Kevin will be bearing 100% of costs for everything that is going to keep him alive and fighting the remaining brain tumor with zero income.

Money donated to this Go Fund Me account will be used to help Kevin pay for his everyday functioning (utilities, groceries, gas to get him to his appointments and therapy etc), medical bills, and medications needed daily. Kevin will have to travel at least an hour each way for every treatment he receives in these coming months. We appreciate any and all donations made on this page. ♥️️
