Battle for Bogie - Support fund for Mike Bogard

We are asking for donations to assist our Dad, Mike Bogard in his battle with lung cancer. 

Mike was diagnosed on October 13th, 2022 with an aggressive small cell lung cancer. We are awaiting a PET scan to determine the extent of the disease but for now, we know that he has pneumonia and a large mass in his partially-collapsed right lung.

Although, the disease is aggressive, it responds well to treatment and the week following the diagnosis, we attended approximately a dozen appointments with Dad to get everything organized in order for his treatment to begin. 

Unfortunately,  Dad's health rapidly declined over the course of this week and he was rushed to the ER at Lima Memorial on Wednesday evening due to a severe underlying infection. 

He has a full team of physicians (cardiologists, pulmonologists, oncologists, etc) doing everything they can to get his vitals leveled out so we can get back on track and get after this ******* cancer. 

The plan is to start chemo this coming Wednesday and the doctors are optimistic that he will see a massive improvement in his symptoms. 

As everyone who knows Dad will tell you, the man is stubborn and regularly overcomes unlikely odds.... and as we- his daughters- can tell you, he is a generous, kind and dearly loved father, brother and friend.

We greatly appreciate any encouragement and support you can contribute while Dad faces this uphill battle. 

All funds donated will go directly to Mike Bogard and his effort to beat cancer and restore his health.
