Our student Wyatt, is currently battling cancer. His tumors are resistant to the chemo, so he will be trying a new, more aggressive treatment in the next couple of weeks. He will need to get an apartment near Duke Hospital for the next few months for this new treatment.

We are hosting an open mat/barbecue to help raise money for his treatment and expenses. Wyatt has shown incredible strength and courage throughout this battle, and we want to show him that he's not fighting alone.

This is a time for us to come together as a community --to support, encourage, and lift up one of our own. Every bit of help makes a difference. Everyone is welcome regardless of whether you train at a different gym or don't train at all. It will be donation based, and the open mat will be wrestling/jiu jitsu.
