You all are amazing! I cannot tell you how grateful I am! It means the world to me that people are willing to bless me this way! I have been asked to update this with a different amount surrounding my circumstances in life. I do not wish to say much, but I am going through a divorce. It has me in a very difficult financial position with being in California. I am currently short for my bills for March by $1500, so I have updated the total with that. I cannot say thank you enough!

So you all know that it is never really my style to ask for money; in fact, I even have an a difficult time asking for help in general. I am going through a very difficult family and financial situation that I do not wish to discuss online (feel free to give me a call, and I will gladly share some information). I am asking for money so I can take a certification course to continue my work as a Batterer's Intervention Facilitator. This is the program I did with Family Pathways, but California requires that I have a certification to do it.
Many of you know that family is everything to me. God has always had working with families on my heart; He specifically guided me to working with fathers.I believe a father has the ability to make or break a family, and I have the compassion to work with the ones who need the most help -- men who are abusive. There are few things I enjoy more than seeing a man grow to become the father God created him to be. In coming to California, my BIP was the only thing I was adamant about finding a way to continue doing, but I cannot afford the training.
If I do not do it this March, I will likely have to wait until the following year to compete it. The cost is $500, so I put my goal at $550 to cover the fees for this. Any help you can offer would be a tremendous blessing. Thank you, friends!
