In September, my best friend of 42 years, Michael Moore was admitted to the hospital. While he isn't a stranger to the hospital after surviving multiple open heart surgeries over the years, I remember him telling me that this time felt different and he wasn't sure if he was meant to make it through this one. Since then, he has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer with the current prognosis being counted in days and possibly weeks.

Michael has been a loving husband to Lise, his wife of 21 years and together they are raising six amazing children Corwin (19), Connor (17), Daniel (16), Dylan (13), Kaylie (10) and Logan (9). Their Oldest son is currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the Phillipines. I have been truly blessed to have Michael stand with me during many challenges, seen first hand the love he has for his family and am heartbroken that this is happening.

The original driver of this go fund me was to raise money for Corwin to come home from the Phillipines to spend time with his father and then eventually to return back to the Phillipines to complete his mission. The cost of this is expected to be between $3,000 and $4,000 however I know that there will be additional expenses impacting their family through this time and following Michael's passing and hoping we can do what we can to help.
