Last week we had to make an urgent vet visit because she had stopped eating and was having trouble breathing. $740 later, it turned out she was dehydrated and had an upper respiratory infection - like sinusitis in humans, basically. We were sent home with antibiotics, an appetite stimulant, and instructions to return in a few days for follow-up bloodwork.

Thankfully, the antibiotics started helping right away, and by Sunday my sweet girl was back to cuddling on the armchair and yelling at the door. (She's gone a bit deaf in her old age.) The follow-up bloodwork looked good - clear improvement! But that was another $130.

The wonderful vet clinic has been paid, partly out of my pocket and partly through a small ($540) loan. It's left me painfully short on funds (~$500 short, to be exact), with rent and several bills coming due at the start of November... not to mention I'd really like groceries, too.

If you can spare even $10, we'd really appreciate it.
