Please HELP Katy Klitz and Brunos Bastos Family
My sister Katy started getting sick at the start of March. As symptoms worsened, she made 3 trips to the ER as her conditions worsened. On the 3rd trip they diagnosed her with complications from Bilateral Pneumonia and admitted her to the hospital.
She was in the hospital for 5 days and sent home, but as complications continued, she was sent back and admitted for an additional week in the hospital. It has been a difficult and bumpy road for her and her family over the last several weeks. Her husband Bruno and her son (3 years old) and daughter (almost 2 years old) are anxiously waiting for her to recover to her usual active self!
Katy is normally found playing with her children, working out in the gym, training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, or spending time with family and friends in both Florida and New England.
She has many follow ups in the next several weeks. All prayers, positive thoughts and good vibes are welcomed, the encouragement is much appreciated.
They have minimal health care coverage, and with time her husband needed to take off of work and still is as she recovers, these will be challenging times financially. We are all so happy to have here reunited with her family but she still needs time to heal and not fret over the bills.
Please help this family any way you can.
