Hello, my name is Steve Foster and I am a masters basketball player who has found a new way to continue to play the sport I love and represent my country.
I am a member of the overs 40’s GB Maxibasketball team a self-funded programme, Earlier this year we had the opportunity to compete at the European Championships and despite coming close to making it to the finals, the team lost the semi-final game by just 1 point. This year, I have been selected to represent GB again at the World Championships in Argentina in August but I need your help to fund this once in a lifetime trip.
This is an incredible opportunity and for me to compete at an international level and represent my country for the second time in the sport I have played for over 30 years.
I am asking for your support to help me cover the expenses for the trip, including travel, accommodation, and training costs. Your contribution will help me to continue to pursue my dream and represent GB on the world stage.

As somebody who has come through testicular cancer any money raised that isn’t used to fund this trip will be donated to a deserving cancer related charity.
