Basil’s Cancer Treatment
Anyone who knows me, knows Basil. She is the silliest girl in the entire world. She will be anyone’s friend and most importantly she is my whole heart.
Basil has a an Osteosarcoma on her back leg. This is an aggressive bone cancer. The treatment plan is to see the specialist, amputate the leg, and start chemo treatments.
Facts about Basil:
- She will be 10 years old in September
- She is a rescued racetrack dog (she only ever lost one race)
- She loves car rides
- She chitters her teeth when she is excited or happy (she does this everyday!)
- She loves jerky treats and eggs
- Going somewhere? She would like to tag along!
- Rescued in 2020 at 3.5 years old
- We’ve been best friends for 6 years
Retired life has been good to her and I want her to enjoy the rest of it and be comfortable.
