Hi, this fundraiser was created to help Basia reach her goal of being able to obtain thyroid surgery to eliminate cancerous tumors found earlier this year. The surgery isn't covered by her insurance but could make a world of difference to her as it will allow her to avoid a total thyroidectomy.
