Wild bushfires are ripping through Australia at record-breaking volumes, wiping out over a billion wildlife and destroying the homes and resources of surviving wildlife.
This is such a dire time and BASI wants to do our part to help our BASI family in Australia and those affected by the destructive fires. Between now and February 16th, we will be collecting donations through this GoFundMe campaign. 100% of the funds collected here, combined with the funds raised in Rael Isacowitz's Mat class on January 25th, will be donated to the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)—as requested by Rael's dog, Shiloh. WWF is responding to the urgent needs of partners dealing directly with fire impacts, including wildlife response organizations, communities, and scientists. Activities change daily but include providing extensive care to injured koalas and other species.
In addition to this GoFundMe campaign, Rael Isacowitz will be holding a fundraiser Mat class at BASI Academy & Studio in Newport Beach on January 25, 2020 starting at 10am PST, with 100% of the proceeds going to WWF.
