Base camp for Irish Cancer Society

Hi! I'm raising money in aid of Irish Cancer Society and every donation will help.

Myself, my family, and a lovely group of friends and friends of friends from our little village in Wicklow (yes it really is that wholesome) are trekking to Base Camp Everest at the end of March 2024. I’ve been in training, breaking in my boots, and now just have a final few weeks to prepare and pack the rucksack!

I’m late to start fundraising because it felt (and still feels) weird to ask friends for donations. Nonetheless, I think this is a great opportunity to raise money for a good cause.

Cancer has touched our family a number of times in recent years. We’ve seen first hand the bravery and resilience it takes to face the diagnosis and the treatment that follows. Research towards improving treatment options and support for those affected are both really important to me.
