Basbous: the Persian cat of Qatar & other rescues

I fell in love with the stray cats of Qatar, who doesn’t? I have got to know the wonderful, kind, volunteers that feed and rescue them daily across the different areas.. I have remained in touch, and

work with one of the hardest working rescuers-a lady called Mona Bakri. Of the most heart breaking cases is this beautiful persian boy -Basbous- left with broken bones after neglect and abuse at the hands of his previous owners (witnessed by neighbours that kindly alerted the Mona). The vet bills are piling and Mona cannot keep up. So much so, the veterinary clinic would not carry out his surgery until the existing funds were cleared. Basbous was the reason for this Gofundme page. And following his wonderful surgery and recovery (and adoption!) we have dedicated this page to help fight for the other rescues, and help Mona Bakri with the vet bills for the other desperate cases.
