Bart’s Legacy Cat Sanctuary

Hi, my name’s Emma and I am a supporter of Bart’s Legacy.

The founder, Susan Hancock, has been rescuing animals for over 40 years. In 2018, Bart’s was officially founded and, since then, Sue has rescued and re-homed an amazing number of our feline friends.

Bart’s is no ordinary cat sanctuary. Sue works tirelessly with cats that often get overlooked or deemed “vicious”. This includes feral Tom cats, older cats, and those with pre-existing conditions. Sue ensures each and every cat receives the ultimate in veterinary care including operations, scans and x-rays, blood tests and dentals, and much more! In order to provide the amount of care, work, and support that she does, there are only a few cats in Bart’s at any time. Bart’s is run from her home to ensure 24 hour care is available.

The vet bill is currently at over £4000. Without clearing this, she will be unable to accept new admissions and there is a waiting list! With a little help from everybody this is easily achievable. Please donate a little (or a lot!) and let’s help Sue to help the kitty’s!
