Almost every day we see reports in the news of horrific tragedies in the world. In our busy lives, we can become numb to them because there are so many. Of course, we can't focus on all of them, that would be hard to do.
But sometimes there are tragedies that really hit home. Like in the case of my Daughters son Kevin and four other teenagers that died together in the fire. Even though it was almost four years ago, to the five families it's a tragedy that will never go away.
No parent should ever have to bury their child. The tragedy is never far from their minds, there is no escaping it. As humans, we try to do things to help ease the pain and to remember our loved ones. Putting up a memorial site about the best we can do.
With my daughter Casey, It's been a wish of hers to build a small gazebo and to fence off the property where the house once stood. She's tried to do it on her own, she even got as far as saving up eight hundred dollars but sadly the money was stolen.
So on behalf of all 5 families, I helped set up this go fund me site because they need your help to reach their goal. We received bids from several contractors and figured out what it will cost to build this memorial to honor the five victims. Kevin, Destiny, Shelby, Chase and Jeremy. Any amount you can give to help build this memorial will be greatly appreciated.
