Hello friends,

We are humbled by the request we have received to create a page for our daughter Savannah (aka Savv). As a promise to those close to her here it is.

The short story is that Savannah broke her neck while attending a family wedding Saturday night.

She was dancing with her brother, and a freak accident happened; she fell and broke her neck in two places.

Our children love, laugh, and dance full-heartedly, and during a lift flip attempt, Savannah miss landed. This is a move that they play with often, so it isn't a complete surprise they tried to perform it among friends and family…

Savv was rushed to a local hospital, then airlifted to Paoli Trauma Center.

Sunday morning spinal surgery was performed, and the prognosis is good. She has movement in all limbs and feelings everywhere. She has to learn to move some of those body parts again, but she will get it back.

She is due to be in ICU for a week and then moved to either a different room or to a rehabilitation center depending on her progress, but this is due to be a long road to recovery.

We will be the first to tell you she is lucky; this could have been so much worse.

This injury will put her completely out of work until she is fully recovered.

So there is Savv’s story.

Again we are truly proud of her, and she will get through this.
