Bartek Family Flood Relief

Sarah Raye is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Layne Bartek.

My name is Sarah McKissick and this fundraiser is for the Bartek family from Wharton, TX.

In the early hours  of last Wednesday (AUG 30) morning, the Bartek family fled their home and the quickly rising water hoping for the best. Unfortunatley, it flooded, much higher than anyone in their neighborhood had previously thought was possible.

With such little warning, they couldn't prepare and left with the clothes on their back and their pets. 

The water rose so high, it entered the second floor of their home completely devastating and destroying everything they had.  

Photo above was taken shortly before it rose higher and went into the second floor.

Please help this family have a home to go back to.

Funds raised will help rebuild the home, replace furniture, appliances, and clothing.
