My name is Charles Francois. I am a longtime friend & colleague of Jerry Bart. For the past three years, he’s served his community as a firefighter for Miami Dade Fire Rescue.
On Tuesday, June 16th, Jerry witnessed the tragic death of his father and wife of two years, after being involved in a fatal crash near mile marker 62 on I-75. Nahomie Bart (wife) and Pierre Barthelemy (father) were pronounced dead on scene.
Jerry was air lifted to Ryder Trauma center for further evaluation; as of today, he is still in the hospital recovering from his injuries.
As you can imagine, Jerry faces a tough road ahead, as he has to deal with the mental anguish of burying his wife and father. In addition, Jerry is also burdened with dealing with his own physical recovery.
As a fellow firefighter, it is my duty to come to the aid of a distressed brother. I am making this initial donation to assist the family with the hefty cost associated with burying your loved ones.
