On the evening of September 22, Bart Tyree, father of three, passed away at the age of 58 in Ontario, California, from a septic infection that caused a heart attack and multiple strokes. He rejoined our mother - his late wife, Michelle - in Paradise. He is survived by three sons: Travis, 38; Kyle, 36; and Ryan, 34.

In 1979, at the age of 13, Bart was struck by a moving vehicle while riding his motorcycle and suffered extensive damage that required over two years of hospitalization and rehabilitation.

Bart was a stellar athlete, but the severity of his injuries ended hopes of a promising career in football and began a decades-long battle with pain, injury, and declining health that would eventually lead to his untimely death.

In the weeks before his passing, Bart received advanced critical care and ultimately became unresponsive to treatment.

Bart's condition declined suddenly and rapidly, and his sons did not have time to coordinate with him about his affairs. We are unfortunately not in a position to cover the sudden and substantial costs associated with settling his estate, cremation, and celebration of life.
