If you were able to spend any time with Bart Nelson during his 19 year career for Envoy/American Eagle at the SGF Maintenance base, you walked away feeling like you had a new friend who was a straight-shooter but who also didn't take life too seriously. He had an infectious laugh and a passion for his family, fishing, fast cars, spending time at the track, and aviation.

On September 19, 2023, at the age of just 55, Bart Nelson took his last breath on Earth. Bart leaves behind his wife, Liz, and his son Blake. On top of funeral expenses, they will be facing a lot of unexpected medical bills after Bart took his turn for the worse a few months back. Sadly, Blake also has a lot of continuous medical bills that will now fall on Liz to cover by herself.

We may not be blood, but we are family! We want to embrace Liz and Blake and let them know, while they may not have Bart with them physically, we are standing in the gap.

A celebration of life service will be held at North Point Church (3401 West Norton road, Springfield, mo 65803) on Friday, September 29th at 10:00 a.m.
