My name is Jacob, and I am creating this GoFundMe in memory of my father, Barry.

My dad was a loving parent, a proud grandfather, a dedicated firefighter, and someone who deeply valued family, community service, learning, and building a better future for the next generation. One of the greatest joys in his life was his only grandchild, Atlas, who is just under three years old. From the moment Atlas was born, my father took immense pride in watching him grow and often spoke about wanting to help give him every opportunity possible as he moves through life.

In lieu of flowers or traditional memorial gifts, we are honoring my father’s wishes by raising funds to create a college education fund for Atlas. Every contribution will go directly toward supporting his future through education, which my father believed to be an essential building block for personal growth, meaningful community involvement, and a more secure life overall.
