In Memory of Barry Fishman
Donation protected
In memory and honor of Barry Fishman, we would like to raise money to fund a memorial bench and generous donation to Providence Cancer Center Oncology.
Many of you may not have been aware that Barry had been diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme last November, which is a very aggressive form of brain cancer. While he fought an extremely hard fight to the very end, we unfortunately lost his sweet soul on Monday, May 9th, 2016.
Since Barry was laid to rest in the precense of his family back in NY, we would like to adopt a bench in his honor here in the Portland Metro area as a place for Bryan, his friends, co-workers and strangers alike to go and remember the incredibly loving, hilarious, brave, strong and selfless person that Barry was. In addition, any remaining funds we collect, we will be donating to the Providence Cancer Center Oncology department as a tremendous THANK YOU for the tender loving care they provided Barry throughout his fight.
Until we meet again... thank you for being such a loving son, brother, uncle, partner and friend to everyone you met. As Bryan put it, the world has lost a treasure.
