Calling all Bishop Hartley and Whitehall Yearling alumni Class of 1980 and Facebook family! Our friends, Barry & Eileen (Dick) Woods need our help. Barry was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma brain tumor at the end of October and underwent surgery this morning at The James. He is out of surgery and the doctor's said all went as planned. They were able to remove about 90% of the tumor and the next 24 hours will be critical to determine any deficiencies so he will continue to stay in ICU.

At this time, they have lost Barry's income as well as Eileen's income. Short term disability will kick in but at a reduced percentage. Eileen has now taken on the role of caregiver and head of household and to say this has turned their lives upside down, is an understatement. The future is uncertain but we are praying for a miracle! We are not put on this earth to do life alone and if we can make life a little easier for someone who is in the fight of their life, then I say, "let's do it!" Barry & Eileen need our prayers. They need our love. And they need our support. Eileen & Barry are not on Facebook so we will post updates as they become available. Also, they are not aware of this fundraiser so lets keep this between all of us! Thank you SO much for your support!!
