Barry Sinervo's Fight with Cancer

Our brother Barry has been fighting adenoid cystic carcinoma – ACC – for the last five years, and is now fighting to overcome it through an experimental drug trial.  At the same time, the cancer has spread from his sinus cavities to his throat and he no longer can swallow.  He is recently been fitted with a gastric tube that will give him sustenance as he continues his battle. 

 As expected, his medical costs above and beyond what his medical insurance will cover are climbing.  We have launched this fundraising campaign to help pay for the care he needs as he continues his battle.  Our fervent hope is that with his Finnish fighting spirit – sisu we call it – and the support we can give him, he will overcome this disease.
