Barry Navone Funeral Parade & Memorial fundraiser (A)

Our friend and comrade, Barry Navone, has passed away. He was a beautiful, chaotic and empathetic soul who left a lasting impression everywhere he went who often put others before himself and sacrificed in the struggle for a better world.

To mourn his loss and celebrate his life, we will be holding a funeral parade and all a day long concert and camp out. This fundraiser is to help with funds for this memorial. The money will go directly towards land/building rental, Food, Booze, gas money for bands, etc as well as other material expenses. We currently estimate at least 2k will be needed for those expenses alone. We also wish to fundraise in case anyone wants to attend but cannot because of lack of funds. For this reason we are aiming for 5k. Any excess money will be used to pay out bands reasonably. We will democratically decide what to do with any possible reminder after that, likely donate to a good cause.

Honestly it's difficult organizing an event of this size, this quickly while in mourning. It's even more difficult when when it's time to pay the tab on top of everything. So we ask to spread the financial burden around as much as possible. If you are unable to attend but want to show your support, this is an excellent way.
