Barry Lynka, a longtime resident of Tsawwassen, held a deep connection with the roads and shores of Point Roberts. After years spent in the lower mainland, Barry, alongside his wife Dina and daughter Saffron, made Point Roberts their home twelve years ago.
Operating his landscape business in the area, Barry became an integral part of the community, forging strong bonds with his clients and neighbors. His dedication to his work and love for Point Roberts shone through in everything he did.
Barry, Dina, and Saffy found their true belonging on the Point, embracing the warmth of the community and cultivating enduring friendships along the way.
His unexpected departure has left a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him. Barry's memory will forever reside within us, a testament to his impact on the community he cherished.
We think it's important to support his wife and daughter at this time, as they piece together and prepare for this sudden devastation and challenge ahead. Barry was the primary bread winner; Saffy is in college in Manhattan and Dina needs our financial help while she figures it all out. Your help will bridge the gap and the gap is large.
