Dear Family and Friends,

I writing to you with the sad news that our loved one, Barry, is again battling cancer. Two weeks ago, Barry was diagnosed with a tumor in his colon (though doctors think this cancer is unrelated to his previous cancer).

We are very hopeful that this tumor is treatable with surgery and whatever follow-up the oncologist recommends. There will be some complications to the surgery because of scar tissue from previous surgeries and damage from the previous four years of chemotherapy.

Barry will be in the hospital for a week (St. Joe's), and will need to take several weeks off from work  until he gets his strength back.

Barry would never ask himself, but I'm asking for your in raising the funds (any amount is helpful), so that the bills are not something he has to worry about and all he needs to do is take care of his recovery.
