We have organised this fundraiser in memory of Barry Foster, father of our senior player Kate Foster with Tara Ladies GFC. Our aim is to support the family by easing the financial burden of laying their lovely dad & Grandad to rest.

Sadly, Kate & her sister Louise have endured an unimaginable amount of loss over the years, having lost their sister Sarah in 2021, brother David in 2022, mother Janette in September 2025 & now their beloved father, Barry just over 3 months later.

In addition to paying the funeral costs, Kate & Louise will need to provide financial support for their young nephew, who has now lost both his parents & grandparents.

Our thoughts & prayers are with the family at this difficult time, especially our club members Kate & her partner Shaunagh Faughnan along with Kate’s nephew Jax, her sister Louise & Louise’s partner Conor.

May his soul & the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.
