We can never be fully prepared for what life will be for each of us. The unexpected still comes like a storm, so strong, whirling us about with no chance of grasping hold. Barry’s death was sudden with so many plans, memories, and laughter to be had.
Although our hearts are broken by the loss of our friend, Barry Davis, we are thankful for the privilege of knowing him. What an honor to have had Barry in our lives. Barry made each day sunny. He was always smiling, grateful for the day, never complaining and building up those around him with positive words and kindness.
The cliché saying goes: “never met a stranger” - This was not a cliché for Barry, he lived his life treating everyone with respect, helping those in need, and being a friend to all.
If you know the country song: Chain of Love by Clay Walker
"You don't owe me a thing
I've been there too
And someone once helped me out
Just the way I'm helping you
If you really wanna pay me back
Here's what you do
Don't let the chain of love end with you."
I think we can all agree this was Barry. As Barry’s friends, we are honored to return this kindness and the friendship that he showed all of us.
Barry did not have life insurance. His wife Tina has an abrupt financial burden that no one should have to confront in this time of mourning. We are asking for your help to support Tina with funeral expenses and upcoming financial obligations.
If you can, please show Tina she is loved and cared for. Give her security, and peace of mind so that she can focus on celebrating the life of the husband she loved so dearly.
