It is with great sadness that we mourn the sudden loss of Barry Blackmon. No words can describe the sorrow that accompanies our loss, as friends and family of Barry.  He left an impression on everyone he met; he was always the liveliest and most entertaining person in any social gathering.  Barry always enjoyed being the life of the party.  He had an infectious laugh, a humorous smile, and was truly the light in the lives of everyone that knew him.  

As many of you know, Barry considered his two daughters, Athena and Olivia, the greatest accomplishments of his life.  These two beautiful girls were Barry’s pride and joy, not only as their father, but also as their best friend.  His demeanor always changed when he spoke of Athena and Olivia, and he was exceptionally proud of both his daughters, and never missed an opportunity to boast about “his girls”.  He loved them more than words can ever express. 

There will forever be a void in all our hearts, but none more so than Gretchen’s, Athena’s, and Olivia’s.  As we all celebrate the holidays with our loved ones, they will be missing theirs.  Let’s open our hearts, wrap our arms around them, and show them our love and support. 

The funds collected here will go directly to Gretchen, Athena, and Olivia to help get through the holidays.  No amount is too small, and a gift from the heart will go a long way during their time of grief.
