September 15th, in the early morning hours, Barry suffered a significant stroke.  Luckily, he was able to get help within the first critical few hours.  However, the consequences of this stroke has left him with partial paralysis on his left side.  After spending two weeks at Swedish Hospital, he was transferred to the VA hospital in Aurora.  There he will be receiving physical, occupational, speech, and vision therapy.  His release from the VA will be dependent upon the progress he makes while there. 

Many of you have asked how you can help.  As you know, Barry is a hard-working, self-employed person.   He needs to concentrate on his rehab without the stress of unpaid bills hanging over his head.   This account is being set up to help defray his on-going living expenses and medical expenses while he is unable to work.
