My name is Tracey and I am Barry's sister. As friends and family know, Barry and his wife Pam sold their house and bought a truck and RV to retire in a remote, quiet community in BC. They loved it there, but they decided to move a little closer to amenities.

While driving to their new destination two days ago, disaster happened when their truck and RV jacknifed on the highway just outside of Campbell River. Thankfully, Pam and Barry and their precious dogs didn't sustain any serious injuries, but everything they owned is gone...everything. The RV was totalled, and nothing is salvageable from it.

They have insurance for the truck and RV, but their insurance does not cover the contents of the RV. They are in dire straits without any belongings whatsoever, and without anything but a meagre retirement income.

I hope we can all come together and help them to start rebuilding their lives again.
