I'm Lisa and I'm Barney's human. I took barney into my care when he was 6 months old as he was going to be put to sleep otherwise and I simply fell in love with him.

After Barney came home I noticed a swelling around his eye and after numerous vet trips and different medications, today we have had a second opinion and Barney unfortunately has an active bleed on his eye,has developed glaucoma age only 11 months old and has fully lost his sight in the eye.

The vet has advised us to have the eye removed in order to free Barney from the pain that the pressure is causing but the operation is going to cost £2482 and we are not covered for this by our pet plan. We are hoping to raise as much money towards Barneys operation as possible so that we can get him out of pain and back to enjoying his daily walks and playtime with his family.
