Hi Friends Community,

Last week Barney my dog broke his jaw. I am needing support at this time to get through the coming time. Life has thrown a big curve ball - 

The Vets have said it’s a 6 week recovery with a lot of hands on care as he has a feeding tube inserted to relieve his jaw from being used. Or maybe more. 

The Vet Bill is $4,000 so far with a few more $ on horizon. Unfortunately I have no savings & so just reaching out. 

Any donation size welcome.

Caring for Barney;

He has a feeding tube for all his food, water & drug intake(lots of them!). Feeding currently is 6 x’s a day - so not able to leave him or go to work. The feeding tube is actually inserted into his neck to the oesophagus - so also daily wound cleaning - it’s utterly surreal. 

His jaw will hopefully through not using it for the 6 weeks.   

I work as a casual employee  at Royal Melbourne Hospital & my music work.  Currently that’s not happening. Not sure how even we got to this point. Luckily Lort Smith had a $2000 Brotherhood if St Laurence Loan I was able to get plus my pay had just come through. 

I hope to get back to work when I can. 

Also I live solo here with my dog family Hugo & Barney.

Your support would mean I can concentrate on Barney care over the  coming weeks and you would help this human ride the big waves of life.
