Many of you know Barnes as a sweet old man who just wants to love everyone. I know him as my absolute world and my cat's best friend. I know him as a rescue dog I adopted 7 years ago. Barnes was found on the street at BJC downtown (aka his name) and was taken in to rescue. There he was adopted into a home where he was treated poorly. He was afraid of everyone and everything until I met him and fell in love with him. It took years of training and patience for him to become the sweet, confident, and loveable dog he is today. Barnes has been diagnosed with a thyroid Carcinoma. Due to the size of the mass, it's recommended that he get surgery to remove it. He will need to get blood work, a CT scan, and the last step is surgery. The 3k covers all of these costs. Anything you can donate is appreciated and we are eternally grateful for you.
