Progressive Club Scholarship Impact

Dean Edmunds (pictured above)

"My name is Dean Edmunds and I was a recipient of the Barnard Progressive Club Scholarship and a graduated in 1987 from Woodstock Union High School. I then went to Vermont Technical College and received an Associates degree in Architecture. At VTC I used the scholarship to help pay for the tuition.

After finishing at VTC I started into the carpentry world working locally. And for the past 25 or so years I have had my own General Contractor business.

I have lived in Barnard for most of my life. Now I live in Barnard with my wife Cara and 4 kiddos Baiah, William, Aoife, and Ruari.
Please support the Barnard Progressive Scholarship. This is a great scholarship given out to Barnard graduates."

Micah Schlabach

"I graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston in 2023 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in photography. Currently I'm in a transition period, figuring out what I want to do for work. This scholarship helped me attend Emmanuel and get my degree as well as participate in the men's lacrosse team. I want to thank my family, friends, coaches and community for that opportunity to learn and to play the sport I've loved since elementary school."
