Barn Fire- Help us Recover

As many of you know we lost nearly everything in a barn/storage/kennel fire on our property over the weekend, to an electrical issue.

All of our animal care supplies, livestock, dog care equipment, hay, feed, tools, years worth of saddles and tack, blankets, fencing, etc. Basically everything we need to run our daily lives.

More importantly we lost animals in the fire- that we will never be able to recover from. We are living a nightmare.

We have been contacted by SO MANY in regards to what we need and how to help and are HUMBLED by the community support. We love you all. We keep being told that it’s easier to track with a single fundraiser so here we go-

Our biggest priority going forward is new/safe fencing and 2-3 new sheds for storage/shelter for the animals.

As of right now the livestock cannot be here until we are able to get new shelter, new fencing and hay storage.

Waiting on insurance to decide if the barn is covered or not and how we’re able to begin clean up.

Clean up alone is looking at several thousand. To just get the area safe again.

One of the dogs is still in the hospital on oxygen with burns and it’ll be a long road of recovery for her. She is SO strong.

Obviously items like dog/horse feed, leashes, collars, crates, blankets, beds, horse halters and lead ropes, brushes, animal medical supplies, straw, hay, etc are all super helpful as well. USED IS GREAT! No need for anything new!

It all seems impossible and we are devastated. Truly devastated. Any items you can donate are helpful. Thank you all so much.
