Hello! 

Hank is a rescue goldendoodle at Knox Service Dogs in Knoxville, TN. He is currently working hard to become a service dog for Bill! There are many wonderful service dog organizations, but with Hank being so close by, we can be more integral in his training. His trainer, Anna, at Knox Service Dogs has been wonderful to work with and we are very excited to have Hank join “Team Bill!” Unfortunately, service dogs are not covered by insurance providers and it is up to individuals and their families to raise money, apply for grants, etc. If you would like to help us on this journey, please consider donating! On April 21st, 2023 Bill was been diagnosed with focal aware seizures in his central left motor cortex. He experiences seizures both while awake and asleep. We are working with his Neurologist to find the right medication to control them, but side effects can be difficult. He has a huge support team of family, friends, and physicians, but we need to add one more to the team!

The cost to adopt Hank and pay for his extensive training is $12,000.  Any additional funds will be placed in a savings account dedicated to his care including veterinary bills, equipment, food, etc.!
