After more than 45 years of partnering with Byram Township BARKS has unexpectedly been forced out of our long term home due to unexpected financial demands coupled with a 90 day no cause cancelation of lease policy.

BARKS has searched for  and identified a private property to lease, but needs your support to assist us with the cost of this Big Move during the pandemic.  In order to seek a variance to legally operate our shelter BARKS will need to hire an architect, planner and engineer.  The building will need to be remodeled to meet Shelter requirements and keep the animals safe- flooring, plumbing, exhaust fans, and new walls and doors will need to be installed.  Cages, shed and shelving will need to disassembled and moved- likely into storage for a short time while we ready the new location due to the short notice of the Big Move.

BARKS is a 501c3 and donation are tax deductible, but even more so it is only with your assistance that BARKS is able to rescue, rehabilitate and rehouse the needy animals of our area.

   Upon presentation to BARKS Hudson weighed 7 pounds,

YOU  helped create this Miracle!!  Meet Hudson Miracle an old boy left for dead outside this winter and rescued by some wonderful people!  BARKS has been nursing him back to health from severe starvation and frostbite, and he will be moving to his new home in Florida soon!

Now Hudson is almost 11 pounds and looking fitter every day
