Hi, we’re Ceri, Warren, Mike & Rudi

On July 13th, we’re taking on a physically grueling and deeply personal challenge: climbing up and down Pen y Fan completely barefoot, each carrying 40kg on our backs, to raise urgent funds for the Human Association for Relief and Development (HARD).

Why? Because right now, Palestinian and Lebanese refugees are enduring unimaginable suffering—facing displacement, starvation, and ongoing violence under what can only be described as a brutal genocide. Families are struggling to survive without food, clean water, or basic healthcare. Children are growing up in fear and hunger.

We refuse to stand by. So we’re walking in solidarity.

Pen y Fan is South Wales’ highest peak. It’s steep, rocky, and unpredictable. Doing it barefoot, while carrying the weight of an average adult on our backs, will be brutal. But it’s a symbolic gesture—because the pain we’ll feel is nothing compared to what millions endure every day.

All money raised will go directly to the Human Association for Relief and Development, who are on the ground delivering food, medical aid, and essential supplies to those who need it most.
