Barefoot Bob fundraiser to save home
Donation protected
Hi, T-Bone & Jen M here.
Our good friend Barefoot Bob is in a desperate way....
If you know Bob at all, he is the biggest sweetheart alive and would NEVER ask anyone for help, but with his permission, we have bullied him into setting up this page.
He is currently about to lose his dilapidated 50yrs old mobile home, for several reasons;
The first & most importantly, is he has no heat, no lights, no refrigeration & no hot water, due to the fact that the 79yr old rotted Hydro pole on his property is damaged & has to be replaced/reconnected at HIS cost (approx. $3600) plus he is in arrears for his Hydro bill of $1500.
Secondly his home repairs consist of replacing his rotted skirting & floors, allowing vermin to freely enter his home. For his home to be repaired properly the labour & materials have been quoted for approx. $5-6,000.
Thirdly, for him to get a leg up, he is unemployable, due to an accident incurred at work & has damaged his back, knee & loss of a finger.
Additionally, he came down with a peripheral nervous system paralysis, a rare disease that has no apparent cure and caused him to have to retire early, combined with his physical ailments, resulting in continuous tremors.
Although he is presently in remission, he was diagnosed & treated for aggressive melanoma, requiring surgery.
His current income is received from CCP & OAP, leaving him with limited funds per month to pay mortgage, and regular bills such as insurance, gas, food, house repairs/expenses, etc.
Lastly, in his words, "With the provincial & Federal taxes I owe, on top of everything else, makes the prospect of losing my home, the first one I've ever owned & the last one I'll be able to own, very likely.
In a nutshell, if you are able to contribute anything, it will go a long way to providing Bob with a semblance of having a quality of life that he deserves!
Thanks for caring & reading, if you are willing and able....please share with your people.
Don't stop being deadly,
Love T & J.
