Following a devastating fire in Low Street, Bardwell, Suffolk which commenced early evening on Saturday 19th April 2025, five cottages have been destroyed and five families have lost their homes and possessions.

Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all those affected by this fire. Thankfully no one was physically hurt, and pets were rescued. Bardwell Parish Council is remaining in contact with those impacted, offering support at this very difficult time.

As a parish council we have received many requests from the community who are wanting to support any of the families who may need immediate financial assistance during this extremely difficult time, and for this reason we have set up this page, to ensure that all funds are managed appropriately and transparently.
