Barclay Square Cat Colony

Donation protected
Hi! My name is Kim Browers, and I have been adopted by a cat colony this year! What started out as feeding one calico that ended up very pregnant has now turned into 9 regulars that I am trying to help get food, water, shelter, spay/neuter, and vet care while I evaluate them for socialization and adoptibility.

They are:
Jasper (Diluted grey Tabby/mix) neutered male
Olive (short-hair tuxedo) spayed female
Houdini (medium hair tuxedo) neutered male
Sweet Mama (Calico) spayed female - mother of Teela and Sherbet
Sherbet (short-hair orange tabby mix) male
Teela (short-hair tortoishelle) Female. She went to Nashville Cat Rescue with her 3 kittens! Hooray!
Andi (Long-hair tuxedo) spayed female - mother of Kittrina
Kittrina (short-hair tuxedo) Spayed female. She went to Nashville Cat Rescue with her 5 kittens! Hooray!
Bandit (short-hair tuxedo) Female. Mother of Luke, Leia, Mina, Sky, and Loofa
Luke (short-hair tuxedo, Bandit's kiddo)
Leia (short-hair tortie, Bandit's kiddo)
Sky (Short-hair blue soxy with amber eyes, Bandit's kiddo)
Camina "Mina" (medium hair brown tabby, Bandit's kiddo)
Loofa (Medium-hair tuxedo, Bandit's only kitten left from this year's litter. The other 3 disappeared, and I'm hopeful someone scooped them up and got them to safety).
Mr. Toebeans "Toby" (short-hair brown soxy tabby) neutered male. He had a serious injury. I fostered, but due to an ER visit from allergic asthma, he was adopted by gracious friends. He ended up losing his injured leg, but is a happy tripod kitteh with a family he loves!

With the growing colony, I have already started the spay/neuter process, and have 7+ to get this year. Also, Jasper has a skin issue that I'm hoping isn't mange. Pet Community Center said if I can catch him, they will treat him.

This is all getting to be an overwhelming process, emotionally, physically and financially. I know times are tight for everyone, but I'm hopeful to be able to do more work to save them if I have more resources.

This site will be for financial donations, but I will also list items that can be purchased outright if you'd rather do that in the future.

The money collected here will go towards vet care, parasite treatments, injury treatmenets as needed, fostering, spay/neutering, vaccines, monthly food supply, permanent outdoor shelters, and cat rescue basics like traps.

Expected remaining spay/neuter at standard vet $1280. At Pet Community Center it would be $240 but they have a 3 month waitlist which I'm currently on.

Anything you can do to save the Barclay Square Colony is appreciated! I will post pictures of all these sweet souls as time goes on. Thank you all for the support shown already by so many of you. The cats and I are all very grateful!

Sincerely yours,
Kim
