Barcelona for Mark

My name is Luda, I am 49 single mother who lives in Newton, MA and raise son. And this is not my story. This is the story of my son. His name is Mark, he is 12 years old, and he plays soccer. Mark has always been very active, dancing from 4 to 6 years; for three years he practiced Tae Kwan Do. And then fell in love with soccer. It was a joy and disappointment, because at school the guys did not invite him to the game. He had no skills, but had a great desire to play.
Mark started playing in the youth league of our city in the spring of 2015. He worked hard, pushed limits, was passionate and dedicated to game. In the fall of 2015, Mark continued to play in the junior league and constantly showed progress. The guys at school began to respect Mark and invite him to the game. But this was not enough for him. In the winter, when the season ended, Mark continued to move himself. He searched for information on the Internet, watched videos and learned a lot of new tricks. He was very persistent. And in the spring of 2016, when his team started the new season, the coach did not recognize Mark. He was amazed at his progress.
Autumn season 2017 and spring 2018 Mark spent in the travel team. He continued to grow and develop as a player.
And in the summer of 2018 a small miracle happened. After the end of the school year, Mark spent a week in the GPS Club summer camp. He was the youngest in the older group; it was not easy for him. 8 hours of active workouts a day is a lot. It's difficult. It hurts. Mark rubbed the blisters on his feet on the first day, showed me bloodied feet on the second. On the third day, he sealed the wounds with a bandaid and went to the camp, although it was painful even to just put on the boots on. After completing the camp, Mark was invited to play at the GPS club.
Playing in club it is a next level of training. Three practices a week for an hour and a half, and a game on the weekends. Plus school and homework assignments. Mark tries and strives every day to get better than yesterday. All his hard work and dedication was rewarded: Mark was selected for the club team, which goes to the international tournament in Spain from 10 to 21 April 2019.
Unfortunately, our family is in difficult financial situation. Mark's father is disabled after two brain surgeries that he had in 2015. At first was to save his life when he had a stroke. After 5 weeks he had second procedure for a brain aneurysm. I alone provide for Mark and I am straggling to find money for my son. We need help! $ 5,000 is required to fulfill my son's dream!
This is not just a tournament. For Mark, this is a life event! He put a lot of time and effort into being in the team. Also, April 19th is Mark Birthday! He will be 13! I ask you to help me to make Mark dream real! Let this time of winter fairy tales and miracles, at the beginning of the New Year, a fairy tale comes into Mark life!
