Barbara Santos Stay at Golden Palms

Dear family and friends:
I started this GoFundMe me account for my mom, Barbara A. Santos. Me and my family are trying to raise money for her stay at Golden Palms rehabilitation and healthcare center.
She was taken to the ER at the end of April for a very bad infection. She was admitted and placed in ICU at Valley Baptist Medical Center. During her stay in ICU she suffered a stroke which rendered her left side unusable. She is now at Golden Palms undergoing intense physical, occupational, and speech therapy. She is making good progress, there is movement in her left leg so far, and she is able to stand on her own and recently began to take steps. She needs time though and like with everything these days, it costs money. Her insurance covered 100% for the first 20 days and then after that there is a co-pay of $160 a day to keep her at Golden Palms.
Our goal is to get her strong enough to come back home, and she is making good progress but she does need more time. Any donation would be very much appreciated. All of the intimidate family are giving our share, but it's not enough. We want to keep her at Golden Palms as long as it is needed for her to get as much back as possible so she can be independent again and come home.
