Barbara (Daheim) Resnick passed away suddenly on Monday, March 16, 2020. We are all reeling from this huge loss.   Barb was an exceptional mother to Flynn and Clara, making sure they felt the freedom to be exactly who they are. As most of you already know, they are wonderful kids.  To her sisters and mother, Barb was someone to count on for help, support, advice, and fun. She was always there for us.     A friend to all, Barb felt strongly about maintaining her many friendships. Walking around Queen Anne was difficult to do with her in an expedient manner because she would be stopped by ex-students from Little Friends, parents, or former classmates at St. Anne wanting to reconnect.     A teacher at Little Friends Preschool, Barb brought enthusiasm, humor and creativity to her students. She has touched hundreds, if not thousands of kids’ lives, teaching them about the world and the beauty of it. Her Little Friends family was exactly that. Family. She worked there for over 30 years and had a tight bond with her coworkers.    Clara and Flynn’s dad is now their sole parent. With the expenses that come with a death, their family needs help — especially with college closely approaching for Flynn and not too far away for Clara. These two kids are going to bring their mom’s fun and caring spirit to the world along with the other talents and values she fostered in them. They have big dreams and college will be an integral part of them continuing to discover who they are and figure out how they will make their way in the world and she wouldn't want it any other way.   Barb had SO many wonderful family and friends, so, of course you have asked how you can help.    We’re hoping you can help ease the financial burden for her kids and their dad so they can focus on grieving and figuring out how to live without Barb.
