Hi, This is Barbara's friend Anne. As a lot of you already know, this summer, Barbara fell off a ladder and damaged her spinal cord. The result was that she lost almost all movement in her limbs, though she can move her head and still speaks flawlessly. 

Since the injury, she's been undergoing physical therapy to regain some of that movement. She's had intensive PT at U of M hospital, and sessions at Glacier Hills care center. But now that she's home, it turns out Medicare will only pay for about one month of rehab going forward. 

So she asked us to set up this site to help pull together some money for continued physical therapy after that budget runs out. We estimate that it will cost about $1,000 a month, and Barbara says she's found someone who works on a freelance basis who will likely be perfect. 

Any help you could offer toward that physical therapy budget would be hugely appreciated. Barbara is one of the world's best people, and we're very hopeful that extra care will help her improve.
